Is it safe to use android devices?

According to the “Mobile Threat Report 2012″ by security research firm F-Secure, Android accounted for an alarming 79% of all malware in 2012, up from 66.7% in 2011 and just 11.25% in 2010.

While it’s not too surprising that the world’s most popular mobile operating system also topped the charts for the most number of malwares, the huge gap between Android and iOS, the second most popular mobile operating system should definitely be a worry for Google.
