iPhoe5DigiTimes reports:

Apple iPhoe5will roll out a low-cost version of the iPhone for China and other emerging markets in the second half of 2013, according to supply-chain sources.

Some sources claimed that they have seen the sample of the low-cost iPhone, which will come with a larger display, meeting the prevailing trend for the adoption of 5-inch displays for high-end models. They added that the low-priced iPhone will also have a brand new exterior design.

We’ve heard several rumors that Apple is working on a cheaper iPhone, unofficially dubbed iPad nano. The cheaper iPhone could be priced at $200 without a contract, according to some reports.

It will be interesting to see if Apple will launch the cheaper iPhone in other markets like U.S., UK etc. or it will be only for emerging countries like China, India etc.

Things will certainly get more interesting in the smartphone marketplace if Apple launches a cheaper iPhone. What do you think?
